Now it is all up to the Sockeyes to live up to those stats because it is playoff time in the PIJHL. The Sockeyes will be facing the North Vancouver Wolf Pack who are making their first ever franchise playoff appearance. The Sockeyes won all 6 regular season games, but they were very close. The Wolf Pack have a number of great local talent including a WHL player in Brodyn Nielsen playing for them.
What will be tough as well is that the schedule has the Sockeyes and Pack playing in five consecutive days (Games 1-5). The post-season begins Thursday at Minoru, Friday and Saturday games in North Van at the Harry Jerome Arena, and then two home games Sunday and Monday(*If necessary).
If you are heading to Harry Jerome to watch Sockeyes be sure to head out early as traffic may be a big pain. The address for the Harry Jerome Arena is 123 East 23rd Street, North Vancouver.
