Sockeyes Make Move

The Richmond Sockeyes announced Sunday, December 12th, that they have dealt rookie goaltender James Davison to the Comox Valley Glacier Kings of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League for Future Considerations.

Davison, a Coquitlam native, was signed by the Sockeyes last month and appeared in one game with the Sockeyes recording a 3-2 victory over the Abbotsford Pilots. Davison leaves the the Sockeyes with a 1-0-0 record, a goals against average of 2 and a save percentage of .928.

With the move, the Sockeyes have, for now, solidified the goaltending situation sticking with Aaron Oakley and Devin Nijjer.

Good luck to James Davison with his future endeavors with the Glacier Kings.
